As our new Technical Sales Engineer, you'll combine your technical expertise with a commercial mindset to help our customers find the right solutions for their manufacturing and engineering challenges. With a particular focus on cutting tools and associated applications, you'll work directly with customers to understand their operations, identify opportunities and deliver technical solutions that improve performance and add real value.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys being customer-facing and wants to use their technical knowledge to influence solutions, develop relationships and drive commercial growth.

Some of your key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and application support to customers, recommending cutting tools and solutions that meet their operational requirements.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, supporting the growth of cutting tool sales across your territory.

  • Deliver product demonstrations, trials and technical presentations, clearly communicating the benefits and applications of our solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales colleagues and technical specialists to develop customer opportunities and deliver commercially effective solutions.
  • Analyse customer requirements, sales trends and performance to proactively identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
