Position Summary

At Swegon we are recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer. This role plays a key part in supporting our contractor and consultant sales team unit. Working closely with External Sales, Estimating, and Project colleagues, you will use your technical knowledge to prepare accurate estimates, provide customer support, and ensure smooth handovers from quotation through to project management.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with equipment selection, producing compliant and competitive quotations, and offering on-site support where required. You will be instrumental in ensuring our contractor-focused sales activity is well supported and efficient, helping to secure and deliver high-value projects. Additionally, you will act as a key technical interface between the sales, projects and service teams, providing solutions where issues arise and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Although this is a remote working role, there may be the requirement to attend one or multiple of our locations across the UK, depending on the needs of the business

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated technical support to the contractor sales team, particularly in the London area, ensuring timely and accurate estimating and quotation support
  • Liaise closely with the contractor sales unit to help secure project wins by preparing compliant and competitive bids
  • Deliver high-quality equipment selections and technical advice to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare quotations in line with business and project requirements, ensuring correct specification, pricing, and supplier input
  • Maintain records of job costing and quotation history to support project tracking and reporting
  • Support the Project and Service teams with technical handovers, clarifications, and issue resolution throughout project lifecycles
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and in-house service engineers on Swegon/Blue Box products and relevant third-party equipment
  • Contribute to continual improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in processes, documentation, or support

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
