Company Description

Modcon Systems Ltd. is a deep technology company specialising in industrial process analyzers, AI-driven process optimisation and turnkey analyzer systems. Our solutions are used by hydrogen producers, refineries, petrochemical plants, chemical manufacturers, industrial gas companies and EPC contractors worldwide.

As our European business continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious Technical Sales Engineer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working with customers and wants to develop a career in technical sales. You will promote advanced process analyzer technologies and industrial AI solutions to customers across Europe.

The role combines engineering knowledge with consultative selling, working closely with industrial end users, EPC contractors and system integrators.

  • Develop new business opportunities across Europe.
  • Promote Modcon's process analyzers and industrial AI solutions.
  • Visit customers including hydrogen producers, refineries, chemical plants and industrial gas companies.
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and technical proposals.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Build long-term customer relationships.
  • Maintain CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Represent Modcon at exhibitions, conferences and customer events.
  • Work closely with engineering and project teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Experience in process instrumentation, industrial automation, hydrogen, petrochemical, refining or industrial gases would be an advantage but is not essential.
