JAB Recruitment is currently sourcing a Technical Sales Executive to grow sales of NDT equipment, consumables, rental products, calibration and repair services across Scotland.

This is a varied, client-facing role where you will develop existing accounts, identify new customers and provide technical support throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities

  • Increase sales within your allocated geographical area
  • Organise client visits and deliver technical product demonstrations
  • Prepare and follow up tenders, proposals, quotations and sales enquiries
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services
  • Support contract and commercial negotiations
  • Promote rental, calibration, repair and new product ranges
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, customer and pipeline records
  • Achieve agreed monthly order and sales targets
  • Identify new markets and business development opportunities
  • Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and relevant industry events

  • Previous B2B sales experience
  • Knowledge of NDT techniques or equipment, including MPI, DPI, Ultrasonic, Phased Array, Eddy Current or Radiography
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working to sales targets
  • Full UK driving licence

You will also attend industry events, prepare quotations and proposals, follow up sales opportunities and help identify new markets and product lines.
