Key Details

Role: Technical Sales Executive (MSP)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Excellent Benefits
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 Days Per Week in Office

The Opportunity

Are you a proven MSP sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building long-term client relationships, and delivering revenue growth?
We're partnering with a fast-growing and highly successful Managed Service Provider looking to appoint an ambitious Business Development Executives / Technical Account Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.
This is a genuine opportunity for a motivated technology sales professional to join a business with an excellent reputation, a strong portfolio of solutions, and significant investment behind its growth strategy.
You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities to sell a range of managed IT, cloud, cyber security, infrastructure, and professional services solutions.
If you're commercially driven, enjoy opening doors, winning new logos, and exceeding sales targets, this role offers uncapped earning potential and clear progression opportunities.

The Role

As a key member of the sales team, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting opportunities across both new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Winning new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market engagement.
  • Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customers to maximise revenue growth.
  • Selling managed IT services, professional services, cloud solutions, infrastructure, cyber security, and digital transformation projects.
  • Building strong relationships with decision-makers including IT Managers, Heads of IT, IT Directors, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Leading customer meetings, solution discussions, and commercial proposals.
  • Identifying upcoming technology projects, refreshes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Working closely with technical pre-sales and delivery teams to create compelling customer solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through effective CRM management.
  • Achieving and exceeding revenue, GP, and new business targets.

About You

We're looking for someone who understands the MSP market and has a proven track record of delivering sales success.

You'll ideally have:

  • Direct experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • A demonstrable history of exceeding sales targets and generating new business revenue.
  • Experience selling managed IT services, cloud, cyber security, infrastructure, networking, IT support, or professional services solutions.
  • Strong business development and account growth experience.
  • Evidence of building and managing a sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to engage with senior decision-makers and present technical solutions in a commercial manner.
  • A driven, self-motivated, and target-focused mindset.
  • A genuine passion for technology and helping customers solve business challenges.
