As the business continues to grow internationally, we are looking for a driven and technically minded Technical Sales Manager to help expand our customer base and strengthen relationships across the aviation, security, and transport industries.
The Role
The Technical Sales Manager will play a key role in driving commercial growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships with airports and industry partners, and delivering technical sales presentations and demonstrations.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both technology and customer needs — capable of translating complex engineering solutions into clear commercial benefits. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to support product launches, exhibitions, client meetings, and tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the airport, aviation, and security sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airports, integrators, consultants, and industry stakeholders
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals
- Attend UK and international exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings
- Support tender submissions, quotations, and bid documentation
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand product capabilities and customer requirements
- Assist in developing sales strategies and market expansion plans
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline reporting
- Support the creation of marketing and technical sales materials
- Provide customer feedback and market insight to assist future product development
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements
Essential
- Experience in technical sales, business development, or account management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical systems and solutions
- Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong organisational and relationship management skills

Desirable
- Experience within aviation, airport operations, security technology, automation, or engineering sectors
- Knowledge of airport security screening processes
- Experience working with AI, CCTV, automation, or operational technology systems
- Understanding of tendering and procurement processes
- Existing industry contacts within aviation or security sectors
