Technical Sales Manager – Brewing Ingredients & Process Chemicals

Location: Northamptonshire / Home-based (UK travel required)

SKY AGRO UK is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to help expand our Brewing Ingredients and Process Chemicals divisions.

This is a customer-facing role for someone who understands brewing, enjoys building long-term relationships, and can provide genuine technical support alongside commercial sales. You'll work directly with breweries across the UK, helping customers improve quality, efficiency, and consistency through our range of malt, brewing ingredients, and specialist process chemicals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities with breweries across the UK.
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Provide technical advice on malt, brewing ingredients, cleaning chemicals, and process solutions.
  • Conduct brewery visits, identify customer requirements, and recommend appropriate products.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements, and close sales.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline using our CRM system.
  • Work closely with our technical, operations, and marketing teams to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Stay informed on brewing industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity.

About You

  • Experience in brewing, brewing ingredients, brewing chemicals, or technical brewery sales.
  • Strong technical understanding of brewery operations and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory.
  • Commercially minded with a passion for helping customers succeed.
  • Full UK driving licence.
