Technical Sales Manager - South West

Are you a technically minded sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships and driving commercial growth? Are you excited by the idea of representing industry-leading roofing and cladding fasteners, along with a high-performing flat roof product portfolio? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.

We’re looking for an ambitious Technical Sales Manager to take ownership of our South West region developing new business, nurturing key partners, and strengthening our presence across the roofing and cladding sector.

In this role you will manage and develop new business in your sales patch (South West) through a consultative sales approach.

Your Tasks

As our Technical Sales Manager, you will be the go-to expert for customers across your territory. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Achieving sales growth by meeting turnover and profitability targets
  • Developing new business opportunities with contractors, OEMs, distributors, and key stakeholders
  • Managing key accounts to ensure continued success and long-term partnership
  • Provide technical and consultative sales support by networking and building strong working relationships within all departments of the customer
  • Work closely with your peers to fully leverage all opportunities
  • Understand your competitors and report back on a regular basis any information of note

Your Profile

You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • A strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
  • Commercially aware, with a keen eye for opportunities and market trends
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines across a large territory
  • Proactive and self-driven, comfortable managing your own workload and schedule
  • Experienced in technical or construction-related sales (roofing sector experience is a real advantage)
  • Confident completing administrative duties including CRM updates, expenses, and sales reports
