Technical Sales Manager

Fully Remote

A GBP 65,000 + Company Car Allowance and additional benefits

Our client is a specialist engineering solutions company that focus on electronic system applications across a wide range of industries including defence, aerospace and energy sectors. They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join their existing senior team, managing the sensor/electronic application projects and drive business growth for the division.

Technical Sales Manager Responsibilities;

  • Identify new customers and target markets for the sensor product range
  • Follow up and develop new business opportunities with both new and existing clients
  • Liaise with key decision makers and provide technical product knowledge
  • Successfully negotiate, implement and manage business contracts
  • Travel to customer sites and events when required across the UK
  • Work to agreed KPIs
  • Provide technical support to customers and the wider engineering teams

Technical Sales Manager Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in relatable engineering disciplines such as electronic engineering
  • Experienced in electronic sensors and electronic engineering applications
  • Proven experience working in a technical sales position
  • Must be willing to travel to client sites and business expos when required.
  • Experienced in business development and identifying growth areas
  • Selling products requiring design and manufacture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
