The Sales Engineering Expert is responsible for providing technical expertise during the sales process, supporting the development of tailored solutions for clients, and ensuring alignment between customer needs and product capabilities.
This job profile is intended for recognized subject matter experts in a job area. Required to manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.

This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements.
- Design and propose customized solutions.
- Support proposal development and contract negotiations.
- Provide post-sales technical support.
- Stay current on product developments and industry trends.
- Train and mentor junior sales engineers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least of 8-10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.
- Strong technical background in engineering or related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in solution selling and customer engagement.
- Ability to translate technical features into business value.
- Proficiency in CRM and technical documentation tools.
