M-RACK delivers engineered solar mounting systems for commercial and utility-scale projects across ground mount installations and solar carports. Designed for EPCs, contractors, developers, asset owners, and commercial businesses, its solutions support projects from early-stage technical design through to installation. The systems are optimized for faster installation, long-term structural reliability, commercial bankability, and large-scale deployment. M-RACK combines engineering expertise with responsive project support to help customers deliver solar infrastructure on time and at scale in the UK, Ireland, and beyond. The company offers ground mount solar systems, technical design support, engineering reviews, and project qualification support, with solar carport solutions being introduced soon.
Role Description
The Technical Sales Manager UK & Ireland (full-time, remote) will lead business development and sales activities for M-RACK’s solar mounting solutions across the region. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Identifying and qualifying opportunities with EPCs, commercial solar contractors, developers, and asset owners
- Preparing proposals and quotations
- Managing the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing

The role involves:
- Collaborating with engineering and project support teams to translate technical requirements into tailored solutions
- Providing technical product guidance during customer meetings
- Supporting design reviews
The Technical Sales Manager will:
- Conduct market research
- Attend virtual and in-person industry events
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations
- Maintain long-term customer relationships
Ongoing tasks include:
- Accurate forecasting
- CRM management
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and align with client expectations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical or consultative sales within solar, renewable energy, or related engineering sectors, ideally in the UK & Ireland market.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, mounting structures, and project development processes, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with EPCs, contractors, developers, asset owners, or commercial/industrial clients on medium to large-scale solar projects.
- Comfort working remotely with strong self-organization, time management, and CRM/reporting discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
