Role Description
The Technical Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coleshill. The person in this role will manage and grow a portfolio of industrial door and structural products customers, providing technical sales consultation and solutions that align with client needs and company capabilities.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Identifying new business opportunities
- Preparing and presenting quotations and proposals
- Visiting customer sites
- Coordinating closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery
The Technical Sales Manager will also handle account management duties, including:
- Regular follow-ups
- Performance reviews
- Issue resolution
Additionally, the role involves:
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers
- Maintaining strong customer relationships
- Supporting tenders and bids
- Contributing to sales forecasts and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with a proven ability to understand industrial products and communicate technical value clearly.
- Effective Account Management skills, including relationship building, pipeline management, and long-term customer retention.
- Solid Technical Support capabilities, with the capacity to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, demonstrating responsiveness, professionalism, and problem-solving in client interactions.
- Experience in industrial doors, shutters, steel fabrication, roofing, or related engineering sectors is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging decision-makers at all levels.
- Ability to work on-site in Coleshill, travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate effectively with technical and operational teams.
- Relevant qualification in engineering, construction, or a technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
- Competence with CRM systems, MS Office, and basic business reporting for sales forecasting and performance tracking.
