Introduction to Falcon Timber

Falcon Timber, part of Consolidated Timber Holdings Ltd (CTH) is a market leader supplying sustainable timber products to a broad range of customers mainly in the merchants and joinery markets across the UK and Ireland.

This is an exciting time at Falcon Timber and CTH as we deepen our presence and expand our reach into new customer groups who are seeking quality, innovation and market leading timber solutions.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving revenue and customer engagement by identifying and converting new business opportunities, delivering exceptional service and expanding our presence across existing and target markets. Your efforts will directly contribute to Falcon Timber’s reputation for excellence in customer satisfaction, responsiveness and product expertise.

You will be meeting customers face to face across the Central South region (Herts, Beds, Bucks, Berks, Oxon, West London) selling our full range of industry leading timber products which are renowned for our commitment to ethical and sustainable supply which support the need for a carbon neutral environment.

Key Outcomes:

  • Surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and margin targets.
  • Grow our customer base by actively identifying and converting new high-value prospects.
  • Enhance the customer experience by understanding individual customer needs and providing tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Strengthen Falcon Timber’s market presence and reputation as a trusted advisor in timber supply.

The Person

  • Proven experience in a Technical sales role within a Joinery and/or Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in developing new business opportunities and creating a strong profitable portfolio (existing contacts in this geographical area beneficial).
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Ability to understand and respond to customer needs with tailored solutions.
  • Familiarity with sales planning, pipeline management, and CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Commercially aware with a good understanding of pricing, ROI, and market positioning.
  • Self-starter with strong time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to wider business goals.
  • Has the ability to visit customers in person across the region and possesses a clean, full driving licence.
  • Embraces and demonstrates our Values of collaboration, ownership and integrity.
