Technical Sales Manager
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
A fantastic opportunity to join a growing Electrical Manufacturing Engineering SME as its first dedicated Technical Sales Manager.
The Role
You will drive commercial growth, win new business and develop key customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business
- Develop relationships with OEMs, contractors and engineering customers
- Manage enquiries and convert opportunities into orders
- Understand technical requirements and provide solutions
- Work closely with engineering and production teams
- Help shape the future sales function

About You
We are looking for a commercially driven individual with experience in electrical, electronic or electromechanical engineering.
You will ideally have:
- Experience selling engineered products, systems or technical solutions
- Strong technical sales/business development experience
- Experience working within an SME
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ambition to grow with the business
