As a Technical Sales Specialist
This is your opportunity to grow your accounts, build lasting relationships, and make a real impact on farm within a dynamic, entrepreneurial business.
Key responsibilities
- Drive new business and customer growth through proactive account management and field-based sales activity
- Build long-term relationships as a Trusted Advisor – understanding customer needs, providing practical advice, and delivering consistent follow-up to prove value and ROI
- Take full ownership of your accounts – using local insight to tailor solutions, build networks, and maintain a strong on-farm presence
- Deliver solutions, not products – diagnose customer challenges, recommend data-driven actions, and clearly demonstrate measurable impact
- Retain and grow accounts through regular follow up, data collection, and ongoing support
- Ensure ease and speed across the full sales cycle – from initial contact to delivery, application, and post-sale follow-up
- Use CRM to effectively manage pipeline, customer activity, and account performance
- Represent the business locally, strengthening brand presence and market development

About you - Essential
- Based locally to the advertised location and comfortable working in a field-based role (5 days per week)
- Full UK driving licence
- FACTS qualified, or motivated to work towards
- Passionate about sustainable agriculture and innovation
- Agricultural degree or relevant industry experience
- Commercially driven with a proactive, results-oriented mindset
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage and grow relationships and accounts
