Technical Sales Specialist – Laboratory Equipment
Location: 100% Remote (UK based)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 OTE

An international organisation specialising in laboratory, scientific and capital equipment, supporting major manufacturers across the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, electronics and industrial sectors.
Main duties:
- To develop B2B sales and business opportunities across European markets, with a focus on laboratory equipment, technical sales and customer account development.
The role:
- Develop new business and manage existing customer accounts across Europe
- Generate, qualify and follow up leads to build a strong sales pipeline
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls and equipment enquiries
- Understand customer requirements and identify suitable laboratory equipment solutions
- Manage pricing discussions, negotiations and sales transactions
- Provide ongoing customer and after-sales support
- Build relationships with decision-makers, engineers, scientists and technical specialists
- Develop business opportunities within the Netherlands market
- Use LinkedIn and other platforms for lead generation and business development
- Liaise with finance, logistics and project management teams
- Attend occasional European exhibitions and industry events

The candidate:
Essential:
- Proven sales experience within laboratory, scientific or technical equipment
- Experience ideally gained within an OEM, dealer, auction house, equipment reseller or R&D environment
- Previous experience in technical sales, B2B sales, business development or account management
- Strong understanding of laboratory or scientific equipment and the R&D sector
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage a sales pipeline
- Confident communicator with excellent telephone and negotiation skills
- Commercially driven, proactive and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently within an international team
- Experience using LinkedIn for lead generation and prospecting
- Dutch language skills and/or experience supporting the Netherlands market highly advantageous, although not essential.

The salary:
- £28,000–£35,000+ basic salary depending on experience
- Performance-related bonus potential of approximately £10,000–£20,000, giving an OTE of circa £45,000–£55,000 + Bens.
- Exceptional candidates may be considered above the advertised salary range
