We have a new vacancy for a Technical Sales Support Engineer to be based at our site in Shipley, Bradford.

Your mission in CMbE
The Technical Sales Support Engineer will improve and maintain the technical support available to support company sales activity, utilising both the resource within the Sales Support team and by increasing cooperation between the Sales and Technical departments.
The successful candidate will provide technical support to the sales function, acting as a key point of contact for customers and delivering expert advice throughout the sales and post-sales process. They will work closely with customers, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to gather technical requirements, produce timely equipment quotations, maintain accurate sales literature, and identify opportunities for upgrades, enhancements, and aftermarket sales.

The role also includes attending technical review meetings and conducting machine audits. In addition, they will drive improvements in project management by strengthening collaboration, processes, and systems between Sales and Technical teams, while enhancing document control practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across both functions.
About You
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of an NVQ L3 in an Engineering discipline, with a strong technical or engineering background. They will have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
They will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workloads, and a customer-focused approach are essential. The successful candidate should be able to undertake travel of 50 days per year, including international travel.
