What Makes This Role Great
In this role, you will be the key link between cutting-edge marine technology and global client success, helping shape product developments by translating customer feedback into requirements for next-generation hydrographic software and hardware solutions.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support and high-calibre advice to international clients across office, digital, and field settings.
- Undertake hands-on field operations including new system installations, development testing, inside sales support, and live product demonstrations.
- Empower global partners by creating and delivering training courses for resellers and OEMs.
- Collaborate directly with Product and Engineering teams to refine future marine hardware and software products based on real-world market feedback.
- Assist with dispatch, shipment logs, and other cross-functional needs.
- As part of a global team, you’ll help deliver seamless follow-the-sun support to our customers. You’ll participate in a global support rotation and have the opportunity to travel internationally, with travel expected to be approximately 30% of the role.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree in Geomatics, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hydrographic surveying background with demonstrable practical experience with common survey software packages (Qimera / Hypack / EIVA / CARIS etc) and multibeam sonar systems, as well as knowledge of geodetic GNSS applications.
- IHO CAT A Accreditation.
- Strong adaptability and communication skills to resolve complex technical challenges independently.
Bonus Points For
- Practical skills in electronic troubleshooting, hardware repair, and system testing.
- Experience supporting marine positioning and orientation hardware or office software.
