An established and growing provider of fluid transfer, power, and control solutions is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Executive to join its Aberdeen-based team. Supplying products and services to the Oil & Gas, OEM, and renewable energy sectors, the business has built a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise, and customer service across both UK and international markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and working in a fast-paced technical environment.

The Role

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, supporting existing accounts, and driving new business growth. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure customers receive the highest level of service while delivering against agreed sales targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of key customer accounts.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across target sectors.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Preparing quotations, proposals, and sales forecasts.
  • Working collaboratively with technical and operational teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Attending client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records through CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a B2B sales or account management position.
  • Knowledge of the Oil & Gas, OEM, industrial, engineering, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving targets.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to understand technical products and communicate their value effectively.
  • A willingness to travel for customer meetings and events when required.
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent industry experience.
