Full-time, core hours 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility for out-of-hours customer support).

Job Summary
Ovation Systems Ltd are seeking a Technical Business Development Manager to drive business growth across the United Kingdom, Middle East and Africa, supporting our expanding portfolio of covert video and surveillance solutions.
This is a key strategic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in strengthening our market presence, developing new opportunities, and building lasting customer relationships in the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regional sales and business strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients in law enforcement, defence, and government sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of Ovation’s solutions and assist with the preparation of sales and marketing documentation and training materials.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation, mainly through VARs, to closing deals.
- Collaborate with our engineering and operations teams to meet customer needs.
- Monitor market/customer trends and provide insights to inform product development and the overall growth strategy of the business.
What We’re Looking For
- An individual with proven experience in technical sales and business development, within surveillance, security, or defence industries.
- An Engineering/Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical competence in video, audio, and communication systems in the
- Aptitude to understand and explain technically complex solutions.
- Track record of successfully winning new business and growing market share.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven success in managing sales pipelines and forecasting.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Located in the UK with travel internationally expected once/twice every Quarter, or as when required, for a several days at a time.
- Foreign language skills (French/Arabic) are a plus.
