About the Role

We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI.

Join our client as a Technical Scrum Master and lead Agile delivery in a cloud-first engineering environment supporting critical national infrastructure. This role combines Agile leadership with strong Java and Spring Boot microservices expertise, challenging code, influencing technical decisions, and driving engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and commitments.
  • Review Java/Spring Boot code and influence microservices design.
  • Ensure solutions align with AWS cloud-native principles.
  • Drive CI/CD optimisation, DevSecOps, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Oversee observability and containerised deployments.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
  • Proficient with AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
  • Experience in CI/CD, Docker, ECS/EKS.
  • Strong technical leadership skills.
  • Ability to challenge developers on code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Experience within regulated environments.
