CyberArk Architect (Contract)
Location: Watford, UK (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)
Day Rate: Up to £420 per day
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced CyberArk Architect to join a large-scale enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) programme. This role is ideal for a senior security professional with extensive experience designing, implementing, upgrading and migrating CyberArk solutions within complex enterprise environments.
You will lead the architecture and delivery of CyberArk PAM solutions, working closely with security, infrastructure and application teams to implement secure, scalable and resilient privileged access controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise-wide CyberArk PAM solutions.
- Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Lead end-to-end CyberArk implementations and deployment activities.
- Install, configure and optimise CyberArk components including:
- Vault
- Password Vault Web Access (PVWA)
- Central Policy Manager (CPM)
- Privileged Session Manager (PSM)
- Privileged Session Manager Proxy (PSMP)
- Privileged Threat Analytics (PTA)
- Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM)
- AIM/Credential Providers
- Configure Safes, Platforms, Policies and privileged access controls.
- Plan and execute CyberArk upgrades and migration projects.
- Develop migration strategies, rollback plans and post-implementation validation.
- Integrate CyberArk with Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD/Entra ID, MFA solutions and enterprise applications.
- Integrate CyberArk with SIEM, IAM and ITSM platforms including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, SailPoint, ServiceNow and Okta.
- Automate CyberArk administration using REST APIs, PowerShell and Python.
- Provide technical leadership, governance and best practice guidance.
- Deliver L3/L4 support, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex CyberArk environments.
- Produce technical documentation and mentor engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years' experience in Information Security.
- 7+ years' hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise CyberArk architecture and implementation projects.
- Experience completing multiple CyberArk implementations, upgrades and migration programmes.
- Strong knowledge of CyberArk Vault Administration, PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, PTA, EPM and AIM.
- Experience integrating CyberArk with enterprise identity platforms, cloud services and security tooling.
- Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management principles and security best practices.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python and REST API automation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Working Arrangement
Hybrid working with an expectation of two days per week onsite in Watford.
Occasional travel to London and other UK locations may be required for workshops and project activities.
