Technical Security Consultant
CornerStone is a leading independent Security Risk Consultancy, and we are now looking for a Technical Security Consultant to join our award-winning team in a UK-wide capacity. We are seeking an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that is built upon innovation, teamwork, taking ownership, and supporting each other. Objectives of This Role
- Deliver technical security consultancy services to clients within a construction environment
- Delivery of projects from initiation to completion
- Provide project management services for clients
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Management of projects using allocated resources
- Chair client meetings and workshops
- Weekly reporting of project status to team lead
- Production and delivery of project documents
- Undertake design development
- Work closely with risk management, design, support and specialist teams
- Managing travel arrangements
- Project budget management
- Deliver against personal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Experience Needed
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the security industry
- Highly experienced in technical/physical security measures (CCTV, ACS, IDS, HVM, Doors, Walls, etc)
- Experience conducting projects in both public and private sector environments
- Experience in project and programme management
- Experience with RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) stages
- Experience in the production of technical and business reports
- Educated to a degree level or suitable vocational qualifications
- Recognised professional membership/certification (e.g. MSyI, CsyP, CSMP M.ISMI, PSP, CPP)
- Prince2 or an equivalent Project Management qualification is advantageous

- Security systems engineering and design knowledge
- Engineering lifecycle knowledge and skills
- Competency in the use of MS office applications
- An understanding of Networks and IT infrastructures
