Are you an IT support professional who's confident being the only show in town and ready to learn some new skills?
Join us as a Technical Security Engineer and take the next step in your career, building expertise in security platforms and modern infrastructure while making a real impact. You'll play a key role in keeping critical systems running smoothly, providing hands-on support, resolving technical issues and ensuring our platforms remain secure, reliable and available.
Working as part of a small but highly collaborative team, you'll take ownership of fault investigations, system maintenance and patch management, while supporting users and working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. It's a varied role that combines problem solving, customer support and continuous learning, with opportunities to contribute to new projects and develop valuable technical skills along the way.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience.
- Provide day-to-day technical support, investigating and resolving incidents across IT systems and infrastructure.
- Administer Microsoft Active Directory, including creating and managing user accounts, security groups, permissions and organisational units.
- Manage user access, password resets, account lockouts and joiner, mover and leaver requests.
- Apply role-based access controls and ensure users have the appropriate level of system access.
- Monitor the health, availability and performance of Red Hat OpenShift environments.
- Support OpenShift users with access, authentication, application deployment and platform-related issues.
- Investigate platform alerts, failed deployments, connectivity issues and application incidents.
- Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, patching and security checks.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, support procedures and configuration records.

- This role requires you to undergo and obtain UK Government Security Clearance
