Are you a Technical SEO specialist who loves getting under the hood of websites and solving complex search challenges?
We're partnering with a fast-growing performance marketing agency that helps ambitious brands accelerate growth through data-driven digital marketing. As part of continued expansion, they're looking to hire a Technical SEO Executive to take ownership of client SEO performance, deliver technical strategies, and drive measurable organic growth across a diverse portfolio of clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical SEO professional with around 3 years' experience who is ready to manage their own accounts, lead client conversations, and play a key role in shaping SEO strategy.
The Role
As Technical SEO Executive, you'll be responsible for improving website architecture, crawlability, indexing, site performance, and overall technical health to maximise organic visibility and search performance.
You'll work closely with SEO Strategists, Content Teams, Developers, and Client Services to deliver impactful SEO campaigns that generate real business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio of SEO clients and act as a trusted technical specialist.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement technical SEO strategies tailored to client objectives.
- Analyse website architecture, internal linking structures, crawl efficiency, and indexation.
- Diagnose and resolve technical SEO issues across a variety of CMS platforms and technology stacks.
- Monitor website performance using industry-leading SEO tools.
- Deliver recommendations covering Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, structured data, and site performance.
- Work with developers to implement SEO improvements and technical enhancements.
- Monitor search engine crawling and indexing behaviour through Google Search Console and log file analysis.
- Provide technical insight during client meetings and present recommendations confidently.
- Produce clear reporting and communicate SEO performance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with algorithm changes, emerging technologies, and SEO best practices.

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with the confidence to manage client relationships and own campaign performance.
You'll Ideally Have
- Around 3 years' experience in a Technical SEO role within an agency or client-side environment.
- Experience managing your own accounts and delivering SEO strategy directly to clients.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and website optimisation.
- Experience using platforms such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Sitebulb, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of website architecture, crawl management, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt and canonicalisation.
- Experience analysing and improving Core Web Vitals and website performance.
- Understanding of structured data and schema implementation.
- Confidence interpreting technical data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of JavaScript SEO.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development principles.
- Experience working within a digital agency environment.
- Passion for evolving search technologies, AI-driven search experiences, and SEO innovation.
