Description

Location: Charnwood site, Loughborough

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday-Friday with core hours 10:00-16:00

Business Unit: Clinical Technologies

The Opportunity

As a Technical Services Leader, you will act as the line manager for a group of Software Developers (1,2,3 & 4), with primary responsibility for ensuring that all project deliverable timelines are met, defining the technical strategy and processes from which systems will be developed, providing technical support to staff, facilitating the implementation of process and/or efficiency improvements, and ensuring that all system deliverables are completed in accordance with company SOPs and departmental Work Instructions.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the delivery of innovative clinical technology solutions, lead talented technical professionals, and contribute to the success of projects that support clinical trials worldwide.

What You Need To Be Successful

Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK.

Essential Criteria

  • Third level qualification in Computer Science or related subject or significant relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience or understanding of developing applications using MS SQL, ASP.net MVC and C#

  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Significant experience of using LINQ, HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, Entity Framework, Automated Unit Testing, Service Oriented Architecture, XML, XSLT
  • Exposure to documentation/process associated with SDLC in a regulated environment.
  • Familiar with various transmission methods (Web Services, FTP, FTPs, SSH, and AS2).
