Job Title: Technical Service Trainee
Location: Field-based role covering customer sites across North East (Newcastle)
Job Length: 6 months Fixed-term contract
Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

About the role:
As a Carlsberg Britvic Technical Service Trainee, you’ll be a brand ambassador by delivering a simply brilliant first impression to our customers. Preparation and presentation are key to delivering a perfect visit that meets and exceeds our customer’s expectations.
You’ll use your skills to support the installation of our soft drinks equipment in a variety of business premises across the UK, working with an experienced Technical Service Representative.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support Technical Service Representatives with the installation of soft drinks dispense equipment across a variety of customer locations.
- Deliver high-quality technical service and ensure installations are completed to the required standards.
- Provide an excellent customer experience and create a positive first impression.
- Educate customers on equipment use, food hygiene responsibilities and basic fault diagnosis.
- Help maximise equipment uptime and minimise service calls following installation.
- Build positive relationships with customers and provide a professional and helpful service.
- Work independently and manage day-to-day activities effectively.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.

Experience and Key Attributes:
- A customer-focused approach with a genuine interest in helping people.
- Good practical, hands-on skills and confidence working with equipment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- An interest or background in DIY, maintenance or other practical/technical work would be advantageous.
- Previous technical experience is not essential, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
