Job Title: Technical Service Trainee

Location: Field-based role covering customer sites across Yorkshire (Leeds)

Job Length: 6 months Fixed-term contract

Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the Role:

As a Carlsberg Britvic Technical Service Trainee, you’ll be a brand ambassador by delivering a simply brilliant first impression to our customers. Preparation and presentation are key to delivering a perfect visit that meets and exceeds our customer’s expectations.

You’ll use your skills to support the installation of our soft drinks equipment in a variety of business premises across the Yorkshire region, working with an experienced Technical Service Representative.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support Technical Service Representatives with the installation of soft drinks dispense equipment across a variety of customer locations.
  • Deliver high-quality technical service and ensure installations are completed to the required standards.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience and create a positive first impression.
  • Educate customers on equipment use, food hygiene responsibilities and basic fault diagnosis.
  • Help maximise equipment uptime and minimise service calls following installation.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and provide a professional and helpful service.
  • Work independently and manage day-to-day activities effectively.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Valid full manual UK driving licence.
  • A customer-focused approach with a genuine interest in helping people.
  • Good practical, hands-on skills and confidence working with equipment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • An interest or background in DIY, maintenance, or other practical/technical work would be advantageous.
  • Previous technical experience is not essential, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
