Technical Services Consultant

Overview

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Services Consultant based in United Kingdom.

As a Technical Services Consultant, you will support aircraft transition and redelivery projects, ensuring aircraft meet contractual, technical, and airworthiness requirements. You will play a key role in reviewing maintenance records, assessing aircraft conditions, and identifying discrepancies that could affect lease agreements or operational readiness. Working with aircraft owners, lessors, operators, and maintenance organizations, you will provide technical expertise throughout critical stages of the aircraft lifecycle. You will also conduct physical inspections and monitor maintenance activities to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and agreed standards. This opportunity offers exposure to international aviation projects across Europe, Asia, and the United States, with the flexibility and independence of a consulting engagement. Your technical judgment and attention to detail will help facilitate smooth aircraft transitions while protecting client interests and maintaining high standards of aviation safety.

Accountabilities

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of aircraft maintenance documentation, including LDND (List of Deferred and Non-Deferred Defects), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), modifications (MODs), Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), hard-time components (HT), operational and continuing compliance records (OCC), Life-Limited Parts (LLPs), and damage and repair documentation.
  • Assess aircraft technical conditions and maintenance records to verify compliance with lease agreement requirements, continuing airworthiness standards, and contractual redelivery conditions.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing documentation, outstanding maintenance actions, and technical issues that could affect aircraft redelivery or lease compliance.
  • Communicate review findings, technical observations, and recommended corrective actions clearly to clients, aircraft operators, lessors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct pre-purchase and mid-lease physical aircraft inspections to assess technical condition, maintenance status, and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Represent aircraft owners and lessors as the primary technical point of contact at Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities during ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Monitor maintenance progress, follow up on outstanding technical issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams to support timely project completion.
  • Contribute to aircraft redelivery planning and execution, helping ensure that all technical, documentation, and contractual requirements are addressed before handover.
  • Travel internationally as required to support aircraft inspections, maintenance oversight, and redelivery projects across Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
