At CBRE

We do not just manage buildings, we power the infrastructure that keeps businesses moving. We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Technical Services Lead who bridges the gap between elite engineering and inspiring leadership.

If you are an experienced multi-skilled engineering lead with a passion for mentoring teams, optimising complex building services, and maintaining show-site standards, this is your next definitive career move on one of our most exciting technology accounts in the heart of London.

What Will You Do?

As our Technical Services Team Leader, you will be the heartbeat of our day-to-day engineering operations. You will split your time between strategic team leadership and technical, high-availability site precision.

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of engineers. You will handle everything from performance reviews and training plans to scheduling and leave management.
  • Act as a key site Safe System of Work champion (Authorised Person / Competent Person). You will oversee complex mechanical and electrical operations, plant room maintenance, and installations within strict Change Control processes.
  • Own the relationships with Specialist Subcontractors. You will review RAMS, inspect their work for flawless quality, and sign off on worksheets.
  • Drive SLA compliance for all planned and reactive maintenance (PPM and reactive tasks). You will keep our critical spares stocked, write concise technical reports, and optimise the building's overall energy efficiency.
  • Cultivate a safety-first environment. You will lead regular Toolbox Talks, drive Near Miss reporting, and conduct rigorous monthly and annual compliance audits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
