An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead the delivery of engineering and technical services within a complex, high-profile operational environment.

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a critical client site, overseeing hard services, statutory compliance, asset management, contractor performance, and technical service excellence.

You'll act as the technical lead for the contract, working closely with both client stakeholders and operational teams to maintain exceptional service standards while driving continuous improvement, innovation, and long-term asset performance.

This is a highly visible role requiring a credible technical professional who is comfortable operating within a demanding environment where reliability, compliance, and customer experience are equally important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and governance across all technical and engineering services.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance programmes, safeguarding operational continuity.
  • Lead specialist service providers and subcontractors to achieve performance objectives.
  • Drive asset management strategies, lifecycle planning, and capital improvement initiatives.
  • Manage technical budgets, forecasting, and cost control to deliver commercial targets.
  • Monitor service performance through KPIs, audits, and governance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational resilience, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the site.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
