Technical Services Manager (Fabric)
Salary: £58,426.52 per annum + car allowance
Bonus: Potential bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Technical Services Manager (Fabric) to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical knowledge and practical experience within fabric/building services to take responsibility for the effective delivery and management of technical services.
The successful candidate will be confident managing technical requirements, supporting service delivery and ensuring that all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
While there are no specific formal qualifications required for this position, relevant experience, technical knowledge and practical understanding are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee fabric-related technical services and associated works.
- Ensure all duties and responsibilities outlined within the role's Job Description are delivered effectively.
- Provide technical advice, support and guidance as required.
- Monitor the quality and standard of works and ensure appropriate standards are maintained.
- Liaise with colleagues, contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
- Identify and address technical issues, ensuring appropriate solutions are implemented.
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of maintenance and reactive works.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, health and safety requirements and operational standards.
- Respond flexibly to operational requirements, including occasional out-of-hours/on-call support where required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to technical services and works undertaken.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in a technical services, fabric maintenance or building services environment.
- Strong practical and technical knowledge relevant to the role.
- The ability to manage and coordinate technical works effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative when resolving technical issues.
- A flexible approach to working, including participation in on-call arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
- A full, valid UK driving licence, which is required due to the on-call requirements of the role.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Basic DBS check.

Additional Information
The role is based on a 37.5-hour working week. On-call duties will be required on a case-by-case basis, so flexibility is essential.
In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary of £58,426.52 per annum plus car allowance, with the potential to earn a bonus.
