The Role

Technical Services Manager

Expected start date: January 2027

An excellent Technical Services Manager is required for the remarkable scheme of St John’s Wood Square. This world-class development will set a new standard of luxury living in London.

The Technical Services Manager will be a senior member of the on-site team and the first point of contact for all facilities management and security operations, including security systems, protocols, and third-party contractor management across the estate. The Technical Services Manager will work very closely with the General Manager. They must have a strong engineering background and proven track record of mobilising super prime, amenity-rich schemes.

In mobilising the scheme, this role has responsibility for assembling the supply chain, creating and aligning the management of the systems and services with best practice and taking the buildings through building acceptance, fitting out into ‘steady state’ operations. The candidate will play an integral role in launching the scheme to ensure a flawless service is delivered from day one.

They will have significant experience in industry-leading, amenity-rich schemes and will bring skills that have been acquired in these areas, including:

  • Work closely with the General Manager on the mobilisation and day-to-day management of the development.
  • Support the development of technical strategies, SOPs, emergency response procedures and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure statutory compliance across all building systems, engineering services, health & safety and building safety requirements.
  • Develop Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes, asset management and lifecycle planning.
  • Manage technical budgets and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Lead and develop the on-site FM and engineering teams, whilst managing contractor and supplier performance.
  • Coordinate security operations and ensure compliance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, stakeholders, contractors and service partners to ensure exceptional service standards are maintained.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
