Technical Services Manager
West End, London | Leading Managing Agent
Cobalt is recruiting for what we believe to be one of the most exciting Technical Services Manager opportunities currently available in the London market. We are working with a leading Managing Agent to appoint a TSM to take technical responsibility for a portfolio of prestigious, high-profile commercial office buildings across the West End.
This is a significant role offering exposure to some exceptional assets, a highly competitive package and the opportunity to take genuine ownership of technical service delivery across the portfolio.
As Technical Services Manager, you will act as the technical lead across the properties, working closely with Building Managers, Property Managers, clients and specialist service partners to ensure engineering services are delivered to an exceptional standard.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of technical and engineering services across a portfolio of prestigious West End office buildings;
- Managing M&E and specialist engineering service partners, ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery;
- Overseeing PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical plant and building systems;
- Driving statutory compliance and engineering-related health & safety across the portfolio;
- Carrying out technical audits and identifying opportunities to improve performance, resilience and efficiency;
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to Building Managers and Property Managers;
- Overseeing lifecycle works, plant replacements, refurbishments and capital expenditure projects;
- Supporting the management of engineering and lifecycle budgets;
- Driving improvements in energy efficiency and plant performance;
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, occupiers and service partners.

We are looking for an established Technical Services Manager, Technical Facilities Manager or Engineering Manager with strong experience within commercial property and an excellent understanding of M&E building services.
