Technical Services Manager (M&E) - North
Salary: £75,195 per annum
Location: Mobile Worker - North
This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy
The Vacancy
- Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
Are you an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in mechanical and electrical services within residential properties?
We are currently looking for a technically driven professional to support the delivery of safe, compliant and efficient heating, hot water, mechanical and electrical systems across our housing portfolio.
Working closely with the Head of Technical Services, you will lead on service delivery, contract management, compliance and technical problem-solving, while driving improvements in asset performance and resident satisfaction.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping asset management and building safety strategies, managing complex technical challenges and ensuring our residents receive a high-quality, reliable service.

The essential requirements for the role include:
- Strong experience in compliance and service contract delivery programmes, strategies, and challenges
- Significant demonstrable experience in the maintenance and repair of heating, hot water, mechanical and electrical systems, with proven understanding of system principles, operation, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience working in a customer service environment with a focus on resident satisfaction
- A strong history of prioritising and resolving breakdowns efficiently
- Solid knowledge of water hygiene and electrical safety regulations and best practices
- Evidence of achieving excellence in delivery of services and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Knowledge of key technical and policy changes affecting the social housing sector to implement directional changes
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering/Building Surveying/Building Services (Mechanical/Electrical) discipline
