Encocam Ltd Recruitment for Technical Sewing Machinist
Encocam Ltd are recruiting for a new Technical Sewing Machinist to work at our Head Office in Alconbury Weald, Cambridgeshire.
We are an Engineering and Manufacturing company who specialises in crash test barriers and crash test dummies, as well as advanced composite structures and lightweight honeycomb technologies, serving industries such as automotive, aerospace, defence, rail, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Production & repair of established products within the textiles department for both internal & external customers.
- Contribution & input towards development products & process improvements.
- Performing in-process checks during production/development, where required.
- Operation & basic maintenance duties of the equipment within the textiles department.
- Understanding of technical patterns & ensuring the quality of products produced meet drawing/specification.
- Knowledge of Textile techniques, materials, & processes.
- Maintain accurate records of completed products, materials used & contribute to department improvements/work instructions.
- Use CAD software to review, adjust & interpret digital patterns & technical drawings, ensuring precise alignment with production specifications.
