The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced engineers to join our highly successful team as we continue to expand our comprehensive and popular portfolio into new markets and sectors. With responsibility for supporting both business development and our customers with technical integration of our software and hardware solutions projects, it allows you to expand your professional career within a wide range of vertical markets; including emergency services, multimedia and entertainment spaces, and automotive sectors.
There will also be opportunities for global travel, especially to North America, the Far East and throughout Europe.
The work involves a significant amount of research and development with cutting-edge technology, such as the latest versions of Android (embedded, mobile and automotive) and iOS (prior to public release), the newest silicon and devices not yet available in the market. You will be encouraged to develop new ideas that have the potential to become our next products. Furthermore, you will work closely with our customers to understand their project’s needs, prepare, and conduct technology demonstrations (including rapid prototyping of applications) and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
As part of supporting the on-going development of our product roadmaps, you will concisely articulate requirements to the core engineering team, agreeing on detailed specifications and coordinating the delivery to customers. Some projects will require our innovative proprietary in-car solutions while others may involve industry standards such as Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, for which you will liaise with external stakeholders including consortia and certification programs. You will also be responsible for keeping up to date with all technical details of our product offerings and following new trends and technologies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
