Job Title: Technical & Solution Architect (Distributed Ledger / Regulated Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid - remote + regular on-site (London)

This is a hands-on technical leadership position in the making.

You will work across product management, engineering, and client-facing discussions to evolve the design of a distributed ledger-based post-trade platform operating within regulated financial services. You will initially contribute as a senior engineer while progressively taking ownership of system-level architecture, solution design, and technical direction.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to:

  • Move from senior engineer to architect
  • Work on real financial market infrastructure problems
  • Combine deep technical thinking with business context
  • Shape a product at an early stage

Why join us?

You'll have real ownership and influence in a small, high-calibre team, with direct exposure to cutting-edge financial market infrastructure and a genuine say in product and architectural direction. The role offers a steep learning curve spanning technology, regulation, and market structure, along with a clear path to grow into a formal Technical & Solution Architect position.

Responsibilities:

Architecture & System Design:

  • Design scalable, secure distributed systems in regulated environments
  • Define and evolve system architecture, APIs, and integration patterns
  • Apply appropriate software design patterns and architectural principles
  • Contribute to smart contract and ledger design decisions
  • Ensure auditability, resilience, and operational robustness

Distributed Ledger & Digital Assets:

Work with distributed ledger technologies and smart contracts. Design models for:

  • Tokenised assets
  • Natively digital assets
  • Atomic settlement
  • DvP and RvP mechanisms
  • Central bank digital currency (CBDC) integration concepts
  • Evaluate trade-offs between on-chain and off-chain components

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
