Overview
The Technical Solution Specialist will act as an Ideate Evangelist, serving as a technical advocate for Ideate Software and helping customers, prospects, and the wider AEC community understand and realize the value of the solutions. A key focus of the role will be to develop and deliver high-quality technical and customer-facing content, including product and value presentations, demonstrations, webinars, blogs, training materials, and other content that supports pre-sales and post-sales conversations. The specialist will work directly with prospects, customers, and enterprise accounts, helping demonstrate how Ideate solutions address real-world Revit and BIM challenges and improve productivity, data quality, and project workflows. The role will maintain a strong connection with customers throughout their journey, including onboarding and training for new and enterprise customers, technical support, and engagement with strategic accounts. The Technical Solution Specialist will also represent Ideate at industry and customer events, including roadshows, conferences, and other AEC community initiatives. Beyond customer engagement, the specialist will maintain visibility into Ideate support cases and contribute directly to more complex technical issues when required. They will use these interactions to identify recurring customer challenges, requirements, and opportunities for product improvement. Working closely with Product and Software Development, the specialist will bring structured customer feedback into the development process, helping translate real-world needs into clear requirements and specifications for future product enhancements. Overall, the role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, content creation, training, support, industry advocacy, and product feedback, making the Technical Solution Specialist an important bridge between Ideate Software, its customers, and Graitec's internal teams.

Key Performance Indicators
- High-quality technical and value-driven content: Consistent development and delivery of compelling product presentations, demonstrations, webinars, blogs, training materials, and other customer-facing content supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Prospect and customer engagement: Effective technical engagement with prospects and customers, clearly demonstrating how Ideate solutions address their specific Revit, BIM, and AEC workflow challenges.
- Strategic customer onboarding and enablement: Successful onboarding and training of new and enterprise customers, supporting effective product adoption and long-term value realization.
- Customer and industry advocacy: Strong representation of Ideate Software at customer events, roadshows, industry conferences, webinars, and AEC community initiatives, increasing awareness and engagement with the solutions.
- Technical support and customer success: Active oversight of Ideate Software support activity, with direct involvement in more complex technical cases and effective collaboration to resolve customer challenges.
- Customer-driven product development: Effective collection and communication of customer feedback, recurring technical challenges, and product requirements to Product and Software Development teams, including contribution to clear development specifications where appropriate.
- Product adoption and advocacy: Increased customer adoption, engagement, and advocacy through technical expertise, education, training, references, testimonials, and customer success stories.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Strong collaboration with Software Development, Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs and technical insights are understood and acted upon.
- Effective organization and ownership: Strong self-management of customer engagements, content creation, events, support activities, training, internal collaboration, and other priorities in a multi-faceted role.
Responsibilities
- Strong professional experience within the AEC industry, with a good understanding of the workflows and challenges faced by architects, engineers, BIM professionals, or construction teams.
- Strong knowledge of BIM/CAD technologies and Autodesk workflows, particularly Autodesk Revit.
- Experience working with technical software products or solutions, ideally within the Autodesk ecosystem.
- Ability to understand complex technical capabilities and translate them into practical workflows, use cases, and clear customer value.
- Experience engaging with customers or users through software demonstrations, consulting, training, presentations, workshops, technical support, or solution-oriented discussions.
- Ability to identify customer challenges and connect them with appropriate software capabilities and technical solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical, Product/R&D, Sales, Marketing, and other commercial teams.

Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Ideate Software or comparable Revit plugins, add-ons, or BIM productivity solutions.
- Previous experience as a BIM Specialist, BIM Manager, AEC Consultant, Application Engineer, Solution Consultant, Technical Consultant, Technical Specialist, or in a similar AEC technology role.
- Experience creating and delivering software demonstrations, webinars, workshops, technical content, training sessions, or industry presentations.
- Experience participating in AEC industry events, user groups, conferences, online communities, or other professional networks.
- Understanding of software adoption, product launches, or Go-To-Market initiatives.
- Experience creating technical or educational content that makes complex software capabilities and workflows accessible to different audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Technology, or a related field.
- Strong ability to understand technical products and communicate their value to both technical and business audiences.
- Customer-oriented and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to connect industry challenges, workflows, product capabilities, and business outcomes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Confidence presenting technical concepts, workflows, and software solutions to individuals and groups.
- Analytical mindset and ability to use customer, market, product, and performance insights to support recommendations and decisions.
- Ability to work effectively across international and cross-functional teams.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
