What you will be doing

  • Support the design and evolution of our application and data architecture across multiple business systems, advising on key architectural choices at appropriate stages.
  • Assist in defining solution designs that are scalable, secure and aligned with the firm’s technology roadmap.
  • Contribute to the development of standards for system design, data structures, and integration approaches, ensuring architecture supports long-term scalability, flexibility, and platform growth.
  • Assist with the design and coordination of integrations between developed solutions into a more unified platform.
  • Support the development of data architecture, data flows and data quality standards across solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams, IT and external developers to ensure consistency and alignment across all development streams.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the performance, scalability, and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Work with internal IT and compliance teams to support alignment with internal IT standards, security requirements, and compliance expectations.
  • Support documentation of processes, including control documentation, standard operating procedures, control frameworks, and ISAE-related requirements.

You will ideally have:

  • 3-5 years experience systems architecture, solution design, application architecture, data architecture or a closely related technical role.
  • Experience designing integrated solutions within Microsoft cloud environments, including SharePoint, M365 and Azure-based data.
  • Good understanding of:
    • Data architecture and data management
    • Integration patterns and APIs
    • Security and compliance considerations
    • Application security and governance best practices
  • Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and practical way
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach.
  • An interest in learning the financial services industry and understanding how technology can improve business operations.
  • A willingness to take responsibility for assigned areas, learn new technologies and contribute to the continued evolution of our technology platform.
  • Exposure to, or an interest in, artificial intelligence and its practical application in business processes would be beneficial but is not required.
