Technical Solutions Architect – London

£750 - £850 p/d (outside IR35)
3 month initial term

Well-established, highly profitable and rapidly expanding engineering business is seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Architect to join them on a contract basis. Following a number of recent acquisitions, the organisation has an ambitious growth strategy with plans to acquire 8–10 businesses per year, creating significant demand for scalable, secure and standardised technology solutions.

This is a key role within an organisation undergoing major digital transformation, where technology architecture will play a critical role in enabling growth, driving standardisation and supporting the successful integration of newly acquired businesses.

Working closely with the Group IT Director and Enterprise Architect, you'll design and assure enterprise-scale solutions across cloud, infrastructure, applications, integration, data and security. You'll provide technical leadership across strategic initiatives including digital transformation, M&A, AI adoption, cloud modernisation and business systems implementation, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with the organisation's technology strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
