Job Description
Role: Technical Solutions Architect
Rate: £590/day (Inside IR35)
Location: 3 days per week in Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool, Birmingham, or Newcastle
Length: 6 months contract
Clearance: Basic BPPS required
Are you an expert Technical Solutions Architect skilled at translating complex requirements into robust enterprise designs? We are seeking an architect to lead the delivery and design of enterprise scale systems across key operational domains
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Lead technical architecture for SaaS product selections, microservices, APIs, and event based architectures, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and public cloud standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, bridging the gap between technical teams and senior governance forums.
- Architecture Governance: Develop product roadmaps, establish architecture patterns, represent designs at governance boards, and provide consistent, clear solution views.
- Delivery Support: Collaborate directly with engineering teams to build value for money solutions, optimise delivery, and proactively address technical debt to minimise long term operational costs.

Key Requirements
- Extensive experience with SaaS product selection and end to end implementation.
- Deep technical knowledge of microservices, API architecture, file-based transfers, and event-driven design patterns.
- Proven track record leading enterprise scale systems architecture covering at least one domain: People, Finance, Commercial, or Estates.
- Strong background in public cloud technologies and modern design patterns.
- Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and align senior stakeholders while simplifying complex technical topics.
