Job Details
We are looking for a technically curious and solutions-focused individual to join our Digitalisation Operations team.
This is a broad development role offering exposure to the full customer solution lifecycle - from understanding business challenges and designing solutions through to development, implementation and ongoing support. You will receive structured training while building practical experience with Therefore and associated technologies.
Key Duties
- Work with customers to understand their processes, technical requirements and desired outcomes.
- Support discovery sessions and map workflows, data capture requirements and system integrations.
- Help design, configure and implement end-to-end technical solutions.
- Build electronic forms, workflow automation and document-processing solutions using JavaScript and HTML.
- Create and maintain demonstration environments for sales activity and customer testing.
- Support SQL databases, queries, reporting and system integrations.
- Integrate solutions with customer systems, Microsoft Entra ID and document-capture hardware.
- Use technologies such as optical character recognition, barcode recognition and artificial intelligence-based classification.
- Test solutions to ensure they are reliable, scalable and meet customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot deployed solutions and escalate complex technical issues where required.
- Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer processes through automation and emerging technology.

This role is working full time in the Newcastle Office, 37 hours per week.
Skills And Experience Required
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical subject (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML.
- An understanding of SQL, databases and data handling.
- Awareness of system integrations, application programming interfaces and workflow automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to understand business needs and turn them into practical technical solutions.
- Clear communication skills, with confidence working with customers and colleagues.
- Good organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive approach, with curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn new technologies.
