Technical Solutions & Client Delivery Manager
About the Company
The company is a fast-growing technology company providing a SaaS platform in the clean energy space.
The Role
The company is looking for an experienced Technical Solutions & Client Delivery Manager to lead its Technical Solutions function and establish a scalable Client Delivery organisation. The role sits at the crossroads of Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering, with direct responsibility for customer delivery and implementation.
This is a player coach role alongside leading the team and improving processes. The successful candidate will personally manage selected complex customer implementations.
Responsibilities
Client Delivery & Team Leadership
- Own and improve the end-to-end client implementation and delivery process.
- Establish scalable processes, project discipline, and effective ways of working.
- Monitor project health, identify risks, and escalate or intervene when required.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Technical Solutions team.
- Allocate accounts and projects and establish effective team planning and rituals.
- Help shape the future structure and capabilities of the Client Delivery organisation.
Customer Implementation
- Personally manage selected complex or strategically important implementations.
- Analyse customer systems including ETRMs, billing platforms, ERPs, and CRMs.
- Understand customer data structures and design robust integration strategies.
- Translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Contribute to integrations through scripting or automation when appropriate. This is not an engineering role, but technical fluency is important.
- Work directly with customers to resolve issues and drive implementation plans through to completion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success on onboarding and selected pre-sales activities.
- Support technical discovery and product demonstrations where relevant.
- Identify opportunities to address customer needs through additional platform capabilities or new projects.
- Work closely with Product to translate customer feedback and implementation challenges into product improvements.
- Contribute to strategic and cross-functional projects.
Experience & Skills
- Experience in business analysis, consulting, auditing, SaaS implementation, technical account management, or a similar role involving complex business processes, systems, and data.
- Experience in energy, commodity trading, banking, or another complex industry.
- STEM education or equivalent quantitative/technical background.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and senior business stakeholders.
- Experience managing, mentoring, or leading a team.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.
- Knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python, and an interest in using LLMs to automate workflows in a controlled way.
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of responsibility.
- Fluent in English.

Nice to Have
- Startup or remote-working experience.
- Knowledge of energy-sector systems such as CRMs, ETRMs, billing and accounting platforms.
- Understanding of utility processes across front, middle, and back office.
- Experience delivering complex enterprise software implementations.
