We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist – Identity
We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist – Identity to join a high-performing Identity & Access Management team responsible for delivering and supporting critical enterprise identity services.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), identity lifecycle management, integrations, automation, and platform enhancement. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of the organization's identity platform while supporting ongoing modernization initiatives.
Location: Southampton or Paddington, UK
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and enhance enterprise Identity Management services and technologies.
- Resolve complex incidents, technical issues, and platform-related problems.
- Deliver technical changes, improvements, and platform enhancements.
- Develop, maintain, and support Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) solutions.
- Design and support MIM Synchronization Services, Management Agents, Workflows, Rules Extensions, Attribute Flows, and Metaverse configurations.
- Support identity lifecycle management, including provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
- Develop and maintain integrations between MIM, HR systems, Active Directory, and business applications.
- Create automation solutions and operational improvements using PowerShell and C#.
- Support platform upgrades, migrations, and operational activities.
- Produce technical documentation, support procedures, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and support partners to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).
- Extensive experience with:
- MIM Synchronization Service
- Management Agents
- Metaverse Design
- Attribute Flows
- Workflows
- Rules Extensions
- Strong development experience in C#/.NET, including MIM Rules Extensions and custom identity solutions.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience developing and supporting identity integrations, APIs, and connectors.
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and deprovisioning processes.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related identity technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting complex identity platform issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Knowledge of RBAC, Access Governance, and Identity Governance practices.
- Experience supporting identity modernization, migration, or transformation programs.
- Experience working within hybrid identity environments.
