🚨 HIRING: IBM MAXIMO / MAS TECHNICAL SPECIALISTS – DERBY, UK
We are hiring for 3 specialist roles on a major IBM Maximo upgrade and migration programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector.
- Location: Derby, UK – Hybrid, 1–2 days onsite/week
- Start: 12 October 2026
- End: 21 May 2027
- Duration: Approx. 8 months
- Project: Maximo Upgrade & Migration
- Inside IR35
🔹 OPEN POSITIONS
1️⃣ Maximo, Cognos, DB2 & Azure Technical Lead / Architect
- Rate: £500/day
- Key skills:
- End-to-end MAS architecture
- Maximo 7.6 → MAS 9.x upgrade
- Oracle → DB2 migration
- Azure / ARO architecture
- Cognos upgrade & integration
- Maximo integration and APIs
- Middleware & secure data exchange
- Technical governance
- Performance & security optimisation
- Upgrade impact analysis

- Rate: £500–£580/day

- MAS 9.2 installation & configuration
- Maximo Aviation domain experience
- OpenShift deployment
- DB2 integration
- MAS upgrade/remediation troubleshooting
- Azure/OpenShift environment experience

This is a technical like-for-like upgrade and lift-and-shift migration, including the necessary technical changes and remediation arising from the move to MAS 9.x and DB2.
🔐 SECURITY & ELIGIBILITY
- ✅ British Nationals only
- ✅ Minimum 5 years continuous UK residency / unbroken UK residency
- ✅ SC Clearance or ability to obtain SC – mandatory
- ✅ BPSS required
- ✅ Dual nationality subject to individual review
- ✅ 1–2 days onsite per week in Derby
- ✅ Approved onsite expenses covered by IBM
