Role Overview - What's 'In-store'?
We're looking for a Technical Specialist to play a pivotal role in delivering enterprise software and retail technology solutions for our customers across the UK and Ireland.
Acting as the technical lead on implementation projects, you'll bridge the gap between solution design and successful delivery, ensuring customer requirements are translated into scalable, secure and supportable solutions.
Working closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers, you'll lead customers through technical discovery, implementation, deployment and go-live activities, helping ensure projects are delivered successfully and create lasting value for our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical expertise with customer engagement, problem-solving and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of customer implementation projects.
- Turn business requirements and solution designs into practical technical solutions.
- Run technical workshops and discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders.
- Act as the technical lead and main point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Define integration, deployment, configuration and data migration approaches.
- Support solution scoping, estimation and Statement of Work (SOW) development.
- Identify technical risks and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to project team members.
- Support testing, deployment, go-live and post-implementation activities.
- Work closely with Product, Support and Architecture teams to resolve technical challenges and continuously improve delivery standards.

What We're Looking For
- Experience within retail technology, POS or payment solutions would be advantageous
- Experience in software implementation, technical consulting or Professional Services environments
- A track record of delivering enterprise software, SaaS or retail technology solutions
- Strong technical knowledge across endpoint management, cloud technologies and integrations
- Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, Android Enterprise, Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of APIs, databases and modern deployment practices
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences
- A consultative mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
