Join the Contact Centre Virtual Desktop team within Enterprise Technology at Sky.

We are responsible for the design, support and continuous improvement of business-critical desktop platforms that enable thousands of customer-facing colleagues across the UK, Europe and India to serve our customers every day. The team supports a mixture of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop, remote access technologies, Microsoft Azure services and supporting infrastructure, while helping shape the future strategy of End User Computing at Sky. This role sits within Workplace Technologies and reports into the Citrix Platform Manager. The team combines operational excellence with project delivery, ensuring platform stability today while driving strategic transformation for the future.

What you’ll do

  • Provide 3rd line support technical expertise for Sky's virtual desktop platforms, ensuring high levels of availability and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues across Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Azure and associated infrastructure technologies.
  • Deliver infrastructure improvements, platform upgrades and strategic transformation projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors, architects, security teams and project stakeholders to drive technical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, automation, monitoring and operational processes.
  • Participate in technical reviews, root cause investigations and continuous service improvement activities.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience supporting enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a structured and evidence-based approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure services and/or Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
  • Good understanding of authentication, remote access and identity technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable ownership, resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
