Role Description
Cemfloor by McGraths is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to manage, support, and grow Cemfloor across Scotland. This is a technical, relationship-led sales role focused on supporting existing channel partners, approved applicators, contractors, and specification teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Cemfloor is correctly specified, supplied, and installed while maintaining the highest technical and quality standards. This position focusses on partner development, project support, technical expertise, and specification conversion.

The Technical Specifications Rep is a full-time role based around the Edinburgh and Glasgow area. This role involves providing technical guidance to specifiers, contractors, and customers on Cemfloor products, including performance characteristics, installation methods, and compliance with relevant standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Responding to technical inquiries
- Supporting the preparation of project specifications and technical documentation
- Assisting the sales team with product presentations and site visits
- Troubleshooting application issues
- Coordinating with internal teams to resolve customer concerns
- Contributing to training sessions and demonstrations for industry partners
- Maintaining accurate records of interactions, feedback, and technical data to help improve products and customer support processes

Qualifications
Essential
- Strong technical background in liquid screeds, concrete, or flooring systems
- Experience in technical or specification sales within construction materials
- Proven on-site technical support experience
- Understanding of screeding practices and concrete batching operations
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a field-based role
Desirable
- Experience working with channel partner sales models
- Experience managing approved installer or applicator networks
- Knowledge of UK construction standards and specifications
