Technical Support Analyst
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off | 12-Hour Shifts
Are you technically minded, customer-focused, and looking to build your career within a fast-paced technical services environment?
We're looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join our Technical Services team. As the first point of contact for technical issues, you'll play a vital role in supporting telecommunications networks, troubleshooting faults, coordinating with engineers, and helping ensure services remain operational for our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with helpdesk or technical support experience who enjoys problem-solving and is keen to develop their networking and technical skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for technical support queries
- Troubleshooting and tracking faults through to resolution
- Monitoring and maintaining telecommunications networks
- Validating and coordinating engineer jobs across the business
- Deploying remote updates, patches, screen changes, and password updates
- Configuring routers and profiles for new installations
- Providing regular updates to internal teams, customers, and suppliers
- Managing stock processes, including router orders and Bybox management
- Supporting system migrations and deployment projects
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective operation of the support desk
- Preparing detailed handovers for colleagues and shift teams

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent)
- Strong IT literacy and confidence using multiple systems
- Understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP
- Previous helpdesk, service desk, or technical support experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment

- Experience working within a telecommunications or technical support environment
- Exposure to network troubleshooting and remote support tools
